DO IT YOURSELF HAIR STYLES FOR BUSY LADIES AND MUMS

Kudos to all smart and hardworking women out there. You are all appreciated because you are contributing to the economic output of Nigeria. Despite your busy schedule you can still have that snatching look with the do it yourself styles below, it does not take hours, just a few minutes and you are done.

FAUX BUN STYLE

  

THINGS NEEDED

  1. Adjustable Afro Hair Bun
  2. Shea Butter/ Oil Sheen
  3. Gel
  4. Water
  5. Brush and comb
  • Refresh your hair with water through the perimeter of your hair
  • Moisturize it with Shea butter and massage through the scalp
  • Use any top gel ( I recommend Eco Styling gel) rub and smoothen it into your hair
  • Brush it into the hair to lay
  • Bond it to a pony tail
  • Put little gel to the hair line and smoothen it down
  • Tie scarf, for the hair to stay flat
  • Take the Faux Bun; it comes with two elastic straps. Place it on top of the Ponytail and use the strap to tighten it.
  • Make it sit well
  • Use pin to shape it and make it a little flat. Style it to your taste

BRAID-LESS CROCHET – HIGH PUFF

  

THINGS NEEDED

  1. Jamaica Bounce hair (or your desired crochet hair)
  2. Shea Butter/ Oil Sheen
  3. Gel
  4. Water
  5. Brush and comb
  6. Crotchet Pin
  • De-tangle the hair by combing it
  • Add oil sheen or Shea butter to give a little bit of moisture
  • Path the hair and make a circle at the middle of the hair leaving little part at the edges so that the puff will be smooth
  • Pull away the edges to add gel at the middle part
  • Use water to loosen up the root
  • Add water to the edges already de-tangled and add get so that all goes into one.
  • Bond it to a pony tail
  • Put little gel to the hair line and smoothen it down
  • Get the crochet hair and the pin. Push the crotchet pin through the hair close to the ponytail, add the root of the crochet hair to the hook, and pull through your hair gently.
  • Twist the crochet hair pull the two longest part through the twisted part and do as tight as possible
  • Crochet the hair round the pony tail. You can finish one bundle there or as desired
  • Decorate the hair, style as desires

 

TWISTIE JUMBO BUN

   

Things Needed

  1. Black Rubber Band
  2. Bob Pins
  3. Styling Gel
  4. 2 Packet of Jumbo Braid hair
  5. Oil Sheen

 

  • Refresh your hair with water through the perimeter of your hair
  • Moisturize it with Shea butter and massage through the scalp
  • Use any top gel ( I recommend Eco Styling gel) rub and smoothen it into your hair
  • Brush it into the hair to lay
  • Style as desired and bond it into ponytail
  • Tie scarf, for the hair to stay flat
  • Use rubber band to secure the hair after bonding
  • Split the full Jumbo pack hair into two sections
  • Take a rubber band tie it round the hair and create a loop
  • Attach it to your ponytail
  • Do same to the other half and attach to the other side of the ponytail
  • Begin to braid the hair by splitting into three sections, make sure the braid I neat and not too tight
  • Braid the other side as well.
  • Wrap it round the ponytail and secure it with bob pin
  • Wrap the other as well and secure with pin
