Wearing the wrong colours will give you worn-out look. Choosing the right colours, will bring out your natural features and make you glow. If you put mood, personal preferences, and what’s on trend aside for a moment, the right colour or the right shade, has the power to give your look an instant shot of radiance. Today i am going to consider how to know your skin tone and what colour is best for you.
There are 3 types of Skin undertone which can be grouped into three categories: warm, cool, and neutral. How do you now tell which category you belong to? To get to know try the steps below
Check Your Veins
Roll your sleeves up and look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. Are they blue or green? If they appear blue, you are likely to have cool undertones. If the veins look greenish, you’re warm. Though the vein are not actually green but if you are watching it through a light skin it tends to be yellow + Blue = Green.
Eye and Hair Color
Your natural eye and hair colors can help figure out your colouring. Ordinarily, cool people have Iris that are blue, gray, or green and have blond, brown, or black hair with silver or ash undertones. Conversely, warm-toned women usually have brown or amber eyes with brown or black hair. Their hair tends to have gold or orange-like undertones. Neutral people have hazel Iris; it changes with any colour they are wearing
The Sun’s Effects
When you’re out in the sun, does your skin turn a golden-brown, or does it burn and turn pink first? If it turns golden brown, you’re warm-toned, while cool tones tend to burn (fair-skinned cool girls will simply burn, while medium-skinned cool-toned girls will burn then tan.)
The Jewellery Trick
Have you ever observed if you look better in silver or gold jewellery (Not which you like more, but which actually makes you look more radiant, glowing, and awake.) Typically, girls with cool undertones look better in silver and platinum metals, and warm-toned women look better in gold.
The Neutral Test
Think about what neutral shades flatter you best. Does your skin, eyes, and face look better in bright white and black shades, or ivory, off-whites, and brown/tan shades? If you look bright in white means you’re probably cool-toned, and the latter, warm.
Look at Your Basics.
When it comes to wardrobe essentials, if you go for basic black and white, your skin may be cool, while a preference for ivory and shades of brown hints at a warm undertone.
Neutral? You don’t seem to be falling exactly in one camp
Know What Colours Suit Your Undertone
